Lifefitness Treadmill

The Lifefitness treadmill starts around $1,399.00 and is not a remarkable treadmill in any way, except for just how expensive it is relative to how much it sucks. First off, it’s only strength is the brand name and so loyal following that entails. Otherwise, as we shall briefly discuss, this treadmill is not the best thing you can do with 1400 bucks.

The main problem with the Lifefitness treadmill is its overall reliability. It’s difficult to say which part is most likely to break down first, but these are known for many types of maintenance and repair problems. For the most part, every review and report on this treadmill that I’ve read is quite clear: run the other way.

There are so many treadmills of equal or lesser price that will be much better machines to own and maintain. That’s the other thing, not only are these machines known for breaking down, but the warranty and repair services have been reported as severely lacking by some customers.

Lifefitness treadmills generally are rather noisy. Though you can’t expect a treadmill to be one hundred percent quiet, this one doesn’t come out at average when compared to comparable treadmill models. In the noise category, the Lifefitness ST 55 came out well below average. If noise reduction is important to you, then this is a particular reason not to go with a Lifefitness treadmill, though the reasons appear to be many.

Another attribute that is rated by most treadmill reviews is that of overall quality. The overall quality of the Lifefitness ST 55 treadmill is rated as below average at many more treadmill review sites that I visited than not. I’d say about 75% of the treadmill websites that I visited rated the Lifefitness ST 55 treadmill as below average or worse. The others only rated this Lifefitness treadmill as average.

The warranty of the Lifefitness ST 55 treadmill as well as other Lifefitness models is found to be lacking by most treadmill review sites. Generally, a decent treadmill warranty will last for six months at the very least, and usually for longer than one year.

In summation, the individual factors and features of the Lifefitness ST 55 treadmill, as well as those of most of the other Lifefitness treadmills is below average, making the overall value of these treadmills below average.
