Shopping time? How to get a good deal on a Sears treadmill

Getting a Sears treadmill should be a fun and enjoying experience, where the friendly personnel will guide to the right choice and will give the exact amount of assistance to spend about 300 dollars more than you initially planned. Well… Nobody's perfect and Sears makes no exception.

A quick look at the treadmills that Sears has to offer will quickly reveal a wide range of prices going from 100 bucks to 3000 dollars, when it comes to brands the store tends to be less generous. There is a maximum of six brands that can be found. Enough? I don't think so.

One tip you should always follow is to instinctively add a cent to the price, thus a treadmill costing 699.99 will reveal to actually cost a full 700 dollars. Amazing! Of course if you intend to buy in bulk, let's say about 100 treadmills, the rule doesn't apply as you will save 1 (one) dollar guaranteed by the American government. I hate lousy marketing techniques and this one is certainly one of them.

There are things you should watch for in a Sears shop. Randomly from time to time, they decide to make discounts, pretty heavy ones, which can go for as much as 600 dollars. There have been extensive rumors going on that the dates when these discounts have been introduced coincide with the dates when Sears' CEO decides to switch to decaf. The story is not reliable and we are still investigating.

Otherwise, the personnel working at Sears is pretty friendly, especially if you start looking at the really expensive treadmills. The post sale service is reliable and they will follow the return policy without much hassle.

On the other hand, if you really want some more choices you'd better go to a specialized shop, because the advice and expertise of the pros is always a plus, but if you intend a quick, not very well researched buy Sears' is your place.

The most important thing though that should put Sears on your shopping map is their policy of dealing with returned goods, because they sell them back at a much lower price, but with the advantage of having a guarantee. You must also be aware that the price of these returned treadmills can be haggled on. These guys really want to get rid of them. Of course you might also ask yourself why they were returned in the first place, but it is better to think positive, give them a try and save some serious bucks.

The main point is that a Sears treadmill can prove to be quite a good deal, if you got the time and the knowledge to find them. Adding Sears to your shopping map is a must.
